Meet your private tour guide at 8.30 am at your accommodation. Spend the morning exploring Tasmania’s capital. Hobart is a quaint city that features many preserved colonial sandstone buildings. The vibrant waterfront and Salamanca Place were once thriving whaling industry hubs. Visit nearby Battery Point, where the historic buildings vary from grand homes to humble worker’s cottages. Then embarking on a scenic drive to Kunanyi / Mt Wellington, soaring 1,270 metres above the city you will breathe in the crisp mountain air as you soak in panoramic views stretching across Hobart and beyond (weather dependant). Continue your adventure at MONA (Museum of Old & New Art), an internationally renowned institution that fascinates visitors with its provocative exhibitions. Indulge in a gourmet lunch at MONA’s acclaimed Wine Bar, where premium Tasmanian produce is paired with exceptional local wines. Afterward, explore Australia’s largest private art collection, featuring an eclectic mix of ancient relics and contemporary masterpieces for a cultural experience like no other. The tour concludes at 4:30 pm when you return to your accommodation, leaving you with lasting memories of Tasmania’s rich history, breath-taking landscapes, and world-class artistry.
