Taste all sorts of produce that Tasmania has to offer. We will visit a range of providores with products such as chocolate, oysters and Whisky (or Gin).

Your guide will greet you at 10 am at your Hobart accommodation before heading out on foot to sample the best of Hobart’s food and beverages. Start your day at one of our local chocolate makers. Continue to iconic Battery Point, where morning tea in one of the oldest Tasmanian bakeries is being served. Continue to one of Australia’s leading distilleries and hear about the craft of whisky distillation at the historic cellar door. Tasmania’s pure water, climate and local barley are perfect for distilling some of the world’s greatest whisky. After you have been fortified with a taste of their single malt, conclude your day with an Oyster tasting right at Hobart’s waterfront before the guide bids you farewell at your accommodation by around 2 pm.

Unforgettable Honeymoon

We spent an absolutely amazing day with Elise showing us some of the stunning nature and wildlife that Tasmania has to offer. She helped make our honeymoon impossible to forget and we couldn’t have been happier.

Not only was she knowledgeable about literally everything we were curious about, but her passion about her home was infectious. She took time to point out and explain unique plants and animals in the national park and even managed to sneak us a peek of a baby wombat in the Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary (a must see if you want to get very up close and personal with Kangaroos and learn about the amazing rehabilitation work they provide).

The tour by and far exceeded our expectations and we’d recommend this to anyone interested in learning and seeing more of this beautiful territory.

Daytour Tasmanians Wilderness and Wildlife (January 24)

Amazing trip

We’ve had such an amazing trip here in Tasmania. Bill, our guide, filled us in on the history and lore of Port Arthur, Richmond, Hobart and Freycinet. My son LOVED the visit to the penal colony, and the dramatic stories of the people who were held there. Bill is so knowledgeable about the food and culture as well. And even when it looked like the weather might hamper our plans, he adjusted the route so we could enjoy Tasmania as much in the rain as in the sunshine.

He showed us that this beautiful island is rich in history, culture, amazing food and coffee, stunning views, and amazing wildlife. We leave here totally in love with Tasmania!!
