Fine food, cider and brandy in the Huon Valley

Your journey takes you into the picturesque and fertile lands of the Huon Valley. Visit the small town of Birch’s Bay where unique Sheep whey gin and cheeses are being created. Indulge in a tasting and delicious morning tea. Follow the coastal road into the quaint township of Cygnet which lies between the beautiful D’Entrecasteaux Channel on one side and the majestic Huon River on the other. Enjoy a 2-course lunch created of local products on an award-winning winery. In the afternoon, visit the first alembic copper still in Australia, purpose-built for making apple brandy before arriving back at Hobart.
