Discover Tasmania’s magnificent UNESCO World Heritage wilderness. Covering an area of over 1 million hectares, the Tasmanian wilderness constitutes one of the last expanses of temperate rainforest in the world.

This comprehensive island tour showcases the diverse natural environment of Tasmania and incorporates fascinating landscapes, breathtaking scenery and unique wildlife encounters.

Your journey begins in Tasmania’s waterfront capital, Hobart, where you will be met by our expert local tour guide. Travel across the island to the remote west coast where ancient temperate rainforests are met by powerful Southern Ocean weather systems.

Immerse yourself in the expansive alpine region of Cradle Mountain National Park. Walk around the deep alpine lakes suspended beneath rugged mountain peaks. Travel to the North Coast and Narawntapu National Park. On the shores of the famous Bass Strait this park is also known as Tasmania’s savannah, it is home to abundant wildlife.

Continue to the east coast where the geographical landforms dictate quite different weather patterns than the rest of the island. Begin your east coast experience in the spectacular Bay of Fires Conservation area, known for its magnificent white sandy beaches, azure-blue water and orange lichen-covered rocks.

A contrast of scenery will greet you at the Tasman Peninsula, home to the highest sea cliffs in the southern hemisphere. Explore the impressive rock formations of the peninsular before returning to Hobart.
