Spend the morning exploring Tasmania’s capital. Hobart is a quaint city that features many preserved colonial sandstone buildings. The vibrant waterfront and Salamanca Place were once thriving whaling industry hubs. Visit nearby Battery Point, where the historic buildings vary from grand homes to humble worker’s cottages. Enjoy a scenic drive to the alpine wilderness of Kunanyi/Mt Wellington, a 1270m peak, which provides the dramatic backdrop to the city and offers stunning views over Hobart and beyond (weather dependent) before we take you back to your accommodation.
